Crofton originally cut his teeth in the early noughties as a fresh faced teen immersed in Essex’s Hard House Scene. Starting at the very bottom and armed with just shopping bag full of vinyl he quickly rose to prominence with regular sets at Megabyte and Mind Over Matter at Camden Palace (now Koko,) and the infamous XLR8 after party at Crash.
After becoming disillusioned with the house scene Crofton focused his attention towards towards Hip-Hop, Funk and Breaks. and as a result launched Southend on Sea’s premier Hip Hop night Retreat at the Sunrooms in 2005.
After moving to Brighton in late 2009 he was quickly snapped up by Fat Poppadaddys who admired his cut throat mixing style and ragamuffin attitude
Crofton can now be found smashing venues nationwide. One minute he might playing Chuck Berry to get the girls twisting. The next he’ll be throwing down Nirvana for a good old fashioned mosh. Another mash-up of this quality you will not find!
